Markman Advisors is a unique provider of patent-services.  Established in 2013, the firm started with the simple premise:  to understand patents requires understanding patent litigation.  For the past several years, we have assisted numerous clients with monetizing patents, consulting with investors mindful of pending patent cases, and valuing patent portfolios.

We are distinguishable from other patent-service providers because our guidance is born directly from first-hand experience as patent-litigation attorneys.  The members of Markman Advisors have acted as litigation counsel on behalf of both patent-holders and accused infringers in District Courts throughout the country.  We have appeared in numerous appeals of patent cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, which is the authoritative appellate court for patent cases.  We are registered Patent Attorneys before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  We have applied for and prosecuted numerous patents.  We have also acted as lead counsel in petitions for Inter Partes Review and Post-Grant Review.
